Holidays

We spent Halloween night at Brad & Aimee's watching the World Series, but I had some fun festivities at work. We had a pumpkin carving contest, costume contest, free lunch and got to trick or treat around each other's offices/cubicles. :)

The winner was Little Miss Piggy - complete with a curly tail and all! ;)

For Thanksgiving, we are having a big potluck this Friday which should be delicious! We also do a White Elephant exchange for Christmas that I will need to come up with a funny gift for... ;)

Last Sunday I got motivated and put up the Christmas Tree - yay! The bulbs are ones we bought last year to use as table decorations at the wedding so I love looking at them and remembering our special day.

The leaves are just now finally starting to change and they are very pretty. It's also nice that the sun is up when I go to work in the morning now with the time change!

We ordered a 16x20 canvas of a wedding photo to hang in our room & we got it last week - I love it! The art we have says "Always Kiss Me Goodnight" so the picture matches perfectly. Our one year anniversary is only a month and a half away - hard to believe!! We are trying to plan a trip down to San Antonio to celebrate at the Riverwalk. :)

And, of course, we are looking forward to the week we will get to spend at home for Christmas!!! :) Hopefully there is not as much snow as last year!
