Kyle & Shelly's Visit

Ryan's brother, Kyle, and his girlfriend, Shelly, made it down here to spend their spring break with us! We had a great time and they were able to some good sight seeing while we had to work on the weekdays. It was a gorgeous & sunny 70 degrees the first few days, but then the weather took a NASTY turn! You'll see pictures later....

One of the places we took them is the Galleria mall - it's soo amazing! It's 4 floors, all carpeted, has palm trees and windows at the top - hard to explain but the best part is the ice skating rink on the bottom level! I couldn't even get it all in the picture - they put a giant, gorgeous Christmas tree in the middle during the winter

We also went to Alica in Wonderland at the 3D Imax. :) The glasses are soo stylin'!

Also on the subject of 3D, they had a 3D television set up at work the other day and it was awesome to see! You have to wear glasses that sort of are like thick sunglasses, but they had a car video game playing and it totally felt like you were in the car! I think the glasses are like $150 a pair tho!

Cole and his brother love motocross and had tickets to a big show they were having at the Cowboys stadium. They got us 4 free tickets so went too - we were glad that Kyle & Shelly got to see inside the stadium! :) It was quite a different setup than the football games!

They just had a huge track set up and about 15-20 bikes would go at a time. They had a horrible time with the first turn since they all came out of the gate at the same time and there would always be a huge pileup! Haha I know its bad but the wipe outs made it a lot more interesting ;) So here's the bad weather follow up..when we came out it was snowing like crazy and soo cold! Quite the drastic turn! It was not a fun walk to our car since we had to park about a mile away...as you can tell by Ryan's face! Luckily by Monday it was hot again. There were people laying out at the pool today, so I guess pool season has officially begun!
